Do you know someone vulnerable in your community who doesn't have a smoke alarm?

Clare County Council is working with communities, service providers and volunteers to distribute free smoke alarms (2 per household) to vulnerable households who do not currently have them. On average 47 people die each year in domestic fires. Many of these deaths can be prevented by having a working smoke alarm. If you know of vulnerable households in your community that need a smoke alarm please contact the Tourism & Community Section, Clare County Council, New Road, Ennis, 065 6846511 or malone@clarecoco.ie
